Kloof, 2019. The style of the project inherited that of a Spanish style house, maintaining an art deco feel which gave us the impression we were stars in The Great Gatsby. And so, Gatsby House it was named.
Without losing too much of the house’s original quirks and characteristics we worked on creating a more contemporary and fresh feel. Blending elements of classical and contemporary, we have incorporated the client’s love for the gardens as a theme that pulls everything together. Mixing natural materials, light and luxurious finishes, with elements of tropical create a harmonious balance of luxury design and comfort for this family of 6.
